REGLEMENT du 37 RAIT

  1. Art. 1
    The purpose of these regulations is to set the terms for the 37th International Air Rally of Tunisia (hereinafter referred to as the 37th R.A.I.T)
  2. Art. 2
    The organizers and those responsible for the promotion and monitoring of the 37th R.A.I.T. act in the name and on behalf of the organizer.
  3. Art. 3
    All pilots in possession of a valid license for the entire duration of the R.A.I.T and for each aircraft with a valid airworthiness certificate, as well as all necessary insurances, are admitted.
  4. Art. 4
    Aircraft with a takeoff weight exceeding 5700 kg and aircraft without VHF or transponder cannot participate in the R.A.I.T.
  5. Art. 5
    The organizer reserves the right to refuse any registration that it deems unfavorable to the proper conduct of the R.A.I.T without being required to justify its decision.
  6. Art. 6
    The participants registration will be confirmed by the organizer upon receipt of the full participation fee 30 days at the latest.
  7. Art. 7
    After the registration deadline, the organizer will send participants the necessary aeronautical documentation for flights in Tunisia. In no case can the organizer be held responsible for any outdated aeronautical documentation; the competitor remains responsible for consulting the current NOTAMS.
  8. Art. 8
    The participation fee includes:
    • Accommodation in full board in double rooms in superior category hotels and half board on the days of the events (indicated in the program)
    • All tourist services provided in the program
    • Aeronautical documentation for Tunisia (VFR flight maps, aerodrome charts, radio navigation charts)
    • Technical assistance by 2 mechanics (excluding spare parts)
    • All airport-hotel-airport transfers during the R.A.I.T
    • All overflight and landing permits during the R.A.I.T within the established program
    • Filing of flight plans for the stages planned for the R.A.I.T
    • Security service at each stage: SAR by helicopter
    • Refueling by the Tunisian Army (Avgas 100LL) at agreed aerodromes, payable in cash (€ or DT)
    • Beverage, phone, etc. expenses are not included and must be settled on-site by the participants before leaving each hotel.
  9. Art. 9
    The official language of the R.A.I.T. is French. The organizer will strive to provide translations into other languages (English, German, etc.) during briefings.
  10. Art. 10
    Times are expressed in LT for ground services and UTC for all flights. The official time of the R.A.I.T. is that of the GPS.
  11. Art. 11
    The organizer reserves the right to modify or cancel all or part of the program and itinerary based on external events or circumstances beyond its control and/or imposed upon it.
  12. Art. 12
    In case of cancellation of the R.A.I.T. by the organizer before it begins, the organizer agrees to refund all sums paid by the participants.
  13. Art. 13
    Cancellation conditions by the participant:
    • Cancellation 30 days before the start of the AIT: 50% refund of the participation amount
    • Cancellation less than 30 days before the AIT: the full amount of the participation will remain vested in the organizer due to the financial commitments made with the various service providers.
  14. Art. 14
    Each participant must bring appropriate mooring and protection equipment for their aircraft.
  15. Art. 15
    It is up to each participant to individually subscribe to all necessary insurances (cancellation, repatriation, etc.), as the organizer does not have the authority to subscribe to such insurances.
  16. Art. 16
    The organizer and its representatives have no responsibility in the event of accidents or damages caused by participants that may occur to themselves, their passengers, their aircraft, or third parties. They are also responsible for non-compliance with the regulations in force or imposed, instructions, and others.
